Your last lines are always a joy.

I also especially like "with my contacts, the Man is lumpified."

The description is perfect, because it calls back to mind every time the same thing has happened to me. The problem is that the more you concentrate on the noise, the more awake you become. I have two words for you that have been helpful for me: "cordless headphones."Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03218385133811054388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8662623991024188236.post-70342197400459022122009-03-27T17:45:00.000+00:002009-03-27T17:45:00.000+00:00So much fun. I keep a set of earplugs handy - not for spousal volume so much as for passing traffic.
~jonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8662623991024188236.post-11467075571932675302009-03-25T17:21:00.000+00:002009-03-25T17:21:00.000+00:00Hello Marsh,ha, great post and Nice twist.Hello Marsh,

ha, great post and Nice twist.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8662623991024188236.post-83875506728918940102009-03-25T11:45:00.000+00:002009-03-25T11:45:00.000+00:00Good post...sorry to admit that I'm usually the on...Good post...sorry to admit that I'm usually the one up later watching tv. Freddy's not allowed to watch it when I'm in the room, so he waits until I go to sleep. I feel bad telling him he can't watch it then, either.

Last night, though, he turned on the local news. The volume was QUITE loud, and the three stories I heard before getting up and telling him to stop it were all gruesome, violent murders of children and/or young girls. There's only so much a girl can take.Criss L. Coxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04664903417376487387noreply@blogger.com
